Hi everyone I am just curious if anyone has used bold 2 in 1 lavender & camomile washing sachets and have had a skin reaction to it.
My Husband has had a serious allergic reaction to it which resulted in him going to casualty where they said they had never seen such a severe allergy before, when I mentioned this to friends they too had had skin problems aswell when using bold.
I am going to email the company about this but thought I would first see if anyone else has had any probs your feedback would be very appreciated.

Thanks
Marie x

That is so terrible, Marie! We use this sometimes too...

Hope you both recover very quickly!

Love,

Amanda

Hi,

Yes it affects me too. I cannot use any biological powders and havent done for years. Sainsburys own brand used to be the worst for me I could not even sleep in bedclothes that had been washed in it. Several of my friends are the same with these powders and only use non biological ones. I find they work just as well and if you have a really difficult stain something like Vanish is available.

The only stuff I can use is the Eco friendly liquid. Other stuff brings me out in rashes!

What a good idea to email the company.

Years and years ago my baby at the time had a terrible flare of his eczema. I contacted Persil, the one I was using at the time, and they said they had just made some changes to the formula but hadn't told anyone. They were collecting peoples comments, but at least they confirmed what the problem was and I switched product.

Hope your husbands allergy settles soon - what a horrible thing to happen.

take care
Alison

Hasn`t happened to me, but my daughter-in-law had to stop using Bold as it didn`t agree with her youngest son`s skin.

Hope your hubby gets better soon.

That's really good news, Marie. I suspect that not all companies would do this.

they do a wash ball where you don,t use soap at all .And it works may be not on any thing messie but it does work .

Like me i think it can,t clean but it does and also you could use it with a tiny bit of soap powder
